Classical Sargonic Tablets Overview
Tablet images in color are created from JPG photographs taken of tablets before conservation and cleaning and are relatively low resolution. Eventually these will be replaced with higher resolution images. Black and White images are of tablets after conservation and cleaning and are enhanced through the use of ammonium chloride misting. They were created from initial TIF files and are of relatively higher resolution.
The tablets belonging to this collection are published in Classical Sargonic Tablets Chiefly from Adab in the Cornell University Collections (CUSAS 13) by M. Maiocchi, and in Classical Sargonic Tablets Chiefly Cornell University Collections – Part II (CUSAS 19) by M. Maiocchi and G. Visicato
